Launcher won't load anything (Mac)

Question

Hi guys :)

After downloading the Wwise launcher i wanted to get started but nothing really happens.

Homescreen is showing "Initializing. Connecting to server..". Wwise Tab just keeps running "Retrieving list from server..." but noting happens. I'm running Wwise on  a 2014 Macbook Pro.

Things  I tried so far: 

• Paused Little Snitch
• Connected with and without VPN
• Run Batchmod to reset permissions

 

Nothing helped so far. Any ideas?

A new version of the Launcher has been released last week. After updating the Launcher, do you still get troubles?

For anyone who ends up reading this, I was able to fix the server not connecting by deleting the "install-table.json" file.  There's a thread that mentions the location for it for those who had the same issue on windows which I will post below.  For mac, the file exists in Applications->Audiokinetic->Data

Update -

If I restart my computer and the first thing I open is the Launcher, then it works.

Tested on both of them.

So, if you're in a hurry to install something, do this.
