Hi everyone,

I was following these steps to integrate Wwise as a game plugin for UE4.20: https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/2017.2.8_6698/?source=UE4&id=installation.html

Everything worked fine, until a few days later I can't have access to the Wwise plugin from UE4. It's not in the plugin list in my Unreal Project Settings, and "Open in Unreal" seems to be greyed out in the Wwise Launcher. I tried integrating Wwise again in a dummy Unreal Project and it worked, but somehow it doesn't for this particular project.

I have Wwise 2018.1.3.6784 installed.

Any thoughts ?

I'm having this problem as well. First I had Unreal installed on my D drive, but obviously it was running slowly that way, so I reinstalled it on my C drive. The "Open in Unreal" option has been greyed out ever since. Is there a way to tell Wwise where to look for the Unreal engine?

The Wwise Launcher looks for the presence of Unreal Engine installations in the Registry, in particular under the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EpicGames\Unreal Engine" path. After experiencing the missing "Open in Unreal 4.xx" problem, we have found that performing a "Verify" operation on an Unreal Engine install in the Epic Games Launcher makes the entries in the registry appear. Once an Unreal Engine version is present in the registry, the "Open in Unreal 4.xx" button becomes available in the Wwise Launcher.
