Yes, because the reference system has changed, all Wwise Assets should be updated. Unreal might Assert with the following line in a packaged game if this is not done :

Error: Assertion failed: Offset + BytesToRead <= UncompressedFileSize && Offset >= 0

We recommend that users perform a "Clear Sound Data" followed by a "Generate Sound Data" operation to avoid this issue.
