I can't seem to find any help on this subject and can't file a support ticket since my project is non-commercial.

I have a project where I am playing a midi file via audio in blender container. I have the time settings set at its original tempo/bpm (80). When I play the midi file back, it does not play at 80bpm but rather somewhere around 70.

It also plays each midi notes at a random velocity even though all midi notes were created with identical velocities.

Why is wwise mishandling the midi and how do I fix this?

Hi there,

It is possible that you have set the wrong BPM message for your MIDI clip,

or that the BPM message on the parent unit of the MIDI clip is causing the playback speed to be less than what you expect.

If the BPM of the parent container of a MIDI clip is higher than the original speed at which the MIDI was created,

it will play the MIDI at a higher speed than the original speed,

so you can check again.

Hope this helps
