Does Wwise work in 2D?

Hey! Is it possible to work with Wwise in Unity 2D? and if so, how? I searched on google and stuff and couldn't find any reference about Wwise in Unity 2D. Thank you

So to answer your title question - Yes it works, but you might have to do a bit of tweaking if you want to use the integration components.
