Wwise 2019 Latest Download Problem: Error 416

Hi all.

So I am trying to install Wwise for the first time on my PC. I am trying to get it working, but as soon as I ran the launcher and tried to install stuff, I get an error. The log will be below but it says error 416 downloading vcredistx64. It seems to happen with most versions and upon trying to download any version, once it downloads and something fails, I get the same issue. For example, I downloaded the latest 2018 version, but then I got a .tar xz timeout error, and as soon as I pressed retry, I got the same error. Please review the log down below and please help me.

I have been getting the same issue so i'm curious to see if this gets answered

somewhat ironcially that log is talking about some code called "toFriendlyDownloadError"

anyway, http error 416 is "Range Not Satisfiable" and it relates to resuming interrupted downloads - see 2019-07-20T19:32:28.035Z: Starting download at byte '15301888' in your output log.

my suggestion to you is to delete all the files that you've downloaded so far and go again from clean and hope your internet holds out for the duration.

needless to say I can download all of the microsoft packages listed there without issue.
