Having issue with installing Wwise launcher

I have been trying to install the Wwise Launcher for 2 days and have been getting this same error every time "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"

Is there a solution to fix this

Any help is appreciated

Try each of these steps, and between each of them, try re-launching the Wwise Launcher msi:

  • Make sure you have the latest Windows updates installed. 
  • Make sure you have not windows updates pending, by restarting your computer. 
  • Reboot the computer.
  • Disable your anti-virus.
  • Use the Microsoft Program Install Utility:
    1. Visit the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility website.
    2. Click Download, then click Open.
    3. Follow the instructions
