I've hit the same issue as Aaron G. and others

I'm on lesson 4 and the positions tab differences (between my Wise version and lesson version) are too great to continue!

I'm running Wwise 2018.1.2.6762 on Mac Pro, High Sierra

I saw this post also:

you should not use Wwise 2018.1.x for the certifications. Certification courses, quizzes and exam have not been updated yet. You still need to use 2017.2.x for these. Hope this helps !

Question: how do I get my hands on the outdated version of Wwise that I need if I'm to finish the course? Can you provide a link?

Will I be able to install Wise 2017.2.x if a newer version is already present on my Mac?

Thanks in advance,

Benedict

Hello Benedict, the Wwise Launcher lists all past Wwise versions available for install. If you open the Wwise Launcher at the " Wwise " tab, you just have to use the drop down under " Install New Version " section to install a version older than 2018.1.3.6784. Currently, all older versions are listed up to 2016.1.6.5926 and all 2017.2.x versions are available. Multiple versions of Wwise can co-exist on your computer, each of them will be installed in a different folder. We are planning on having a proper version selector in the next version of the Launcher. Let me know if this helps !
