Good day

I seem to be facing the same challenges as Matthew M..

I have installed DirectX on to my machine and reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.

But Wwise still won’t install, the setup displays an error massage stating…Microsoft visual C++ 2008 failed to download or copy the package: The system cannot find the file specified.

Am i missing somthing or am i doing somthing wrong? Could anyone please help, as I am seeking to learn the software.

You can try installing those 2 packages individually first:

https://www.audiokinetic.com/files/?get=2013.2.8_4865/vc2008redist_x64.exe
https://www.audiokinetic.com/files/?get=2013.2.8_4865/vc2008redist_x86.exe

Then run again the Wwise setup.
