Hello,

I just installed the Wwise launcher off of the website and am getting this error after installing the launcher from the msi file and trying to run the launcher app:

Is there some other prerequisite software I need to install to have this work in Windows 7?

Thanks for your help.

I've seen this before when trying to launch Wwise Launcher when logged in with a windows standard account. When I logged back in with a windows administrator account, it launched fine.

If you need to use the standard account, you can bypass Wwise Launcher by launching the executable for your version of Wwise located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise [your version number]\Authoring\x64\Release\bin\Wwise.exe. This obviously only works if you already have that version installed.
