Why am I getting a black screen when I launch Limbo?

When I launch Limbo, I have a black screen.

The game doesn't seem to be running.

Your Microsoft DirectX version may be incorrect.
Please install the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) package on your system to solve this issue.

Make sure Limbo is closed before installing DirectX.
