First off, please go easy on me as I am brand new to Wwise and have never used audio middleware, however I am familiar with DAWs and the like.

I have just recently started the Wwise-101 Course, and I am already having problems on lesson one. I downloaded the files I needed, and here is what it told me:

Now that you've downloaded the files you need, you’ll need to install

Wwise, various support files and the related course materials. Depending

on your browser preferences the .zip downloads may or may not have been

extracted in your Downloads folder.

1.

Navigate to your Downloads folder and if necessary, extract any .zip

files and then delete the .zip files.

I am unsure of how to extract the zip files, and I am confused as to whether or not I have already installed Wwise. I dragged the .zip files to the trash, and then the course showed me that I need five files; Cube demo, SDL2-2.0.3.dmg, Wwise, Wwise lessons, and Wwise_v         _Build          SDK.Mac.pkg. (The spaces on the last one were numbers that were blurred out.) I only have; Cube demo, SDL2-2.0.3.dmg, and Wwise lessons. If anyone knows what to do please let me know. I would love to get started with Wwise!

I am on Mac OS X 10.9.5

Maybe there is an installation manager I am missing?

Never mind! I reinstalled everything and it was fine. Apparently the files didn't download fully the first time.
