I am trying to make a weapon that has a charge up life of 3 sec use an RTPC for a low pass filter that would affect every sounds in the game except the charging of my weapon. I thought of creating a game parameter and assigning it to a RTPC in an audio bus that has the signal flow of everything else except that one weapon. but i can't seem to test it correcting when i try to test it in a soundcaster. is there an easier way to achieve this?

How about using a state change with a 3 second transition in and a very short transition out?
