Music Playback in Wwise has a number of usability issues stemming from lack of visibility and previewing. I've found these compound as the project scales, and some UX improvements could go a long way.

First, when previewing music throughout multiple levels of a music switch heirarchy, a user wants to know what segment is being played and why. This could be accomplished in a panel that shows the path through the behavior tree, and the relevant switches that result in a particular segment. The schematic view is a great example of how this could be visualized. Alternatively, it's possible to even use existing switch displays and highlight the active path.

Second, the ability to scrub in the current segment is any level besides the segment view, but it would be incredibly useful for previewing loops and transitions. This is a standard feature of audio workflows, and greatly speeds up iteration time. The current workaround is changing playback speed, which is clumsy and inaccurate; even if there was some kind of progress bar for the currently playing segment, this would greatly improve usability.
