High freq glitch on Wwise 2022.1.8

Hello!

I have a high frequency glitch after importing the sound to Wwise 2022.1.8, even when "Play Originals" is selected. The glitch is not present when playing the file on VLC. (video comparison link below)

I searched around for this issue, and found an answer from Audiokinetic that this was fixed in an earlier version of Wwise than I am using, hence why I wanted to address this here, since the problem still is here.
