Do multiple voices going through a bus create multiple instances of the effect?

We have a parametric EQ on one of our buses. But we are getting spammed with multiple instances of it because we have multiple voices going to that bus. 20 voices = 20 instances of the EQ.

I've never seen this before but it seems antithetical to the entire point of a bus. Is this how Wwise works or is it a bug? Have others experienced this? Just curious if we need to dig into our code to fix it.
