I have a 4 channel wind ambience file that I'm sending to the Main Beds bus (configured for 7.1.4).  With 3D audio enabled in Wwise, it's only sending it out of the Left and Right channels on the Main Mix.  However, I have a stereo wind ambience file that I'm also sending to the Main Beds bus, but it's sending that file out of all of the channels (7.1.4).  Why would this be?  Shouldn't I be able to hear binaurally in the headphones with Dolby Atmos for Headphones enabled as the Spatial Sound output in Windows?

I'm using Wwise 2123.1.2.844

Dolby Atmos for Headphones is the Spatial Sound driver

3D Audio is enabled in the System Audio Device in Wwise

Thanks for any insight here

Just guessing, perhaps try the positioning tab of the sound in actor-mixer hierarchy. And there set Speaker Panning to Balance-Fade. Hit the Edit button to open the panner and make sure the sound is placed in the middle. I believe if Speaker Panning is set to Direct Assignment, then the sound may play just in the front channels.

That wasn't it, unfortunately.   Still very puzzled by this...
