What is the recommended way to read incoming MIDI events when designing a Source Plugin?

I see AK::IAkSourcePluginContext::GetMidiEvent, but no examples using this.

I'd like to second this question, if possible.

Is the intent for WWise source plugins to actually handle MIDI? Or do Wwise source plugins just take the audio and pitch it to MIDI like they would a sample?
