I am making a game with unity. The game takes place in a 3d setting and when the playable character enters certain areas the music changes. I have one event for each music composition and I have some switches that makes each composition change to different parts when in different sub-areas located within a larger area triggering the event of the composition in question. In one of the compositions I want the sound of the character shooting his gun to change with respect to what part is playing in the current music track playing. I wonder if you could somehow get an RTPC that flows with the time of the music track playing, and then have that RTPC change switches that controls the sound of the gun shooting. Is this possible? I have tried a lot of things, but I can't seem to find any function mapping a parameter to the time variable of a music segment playing.... Basically mapping the RTPC to the transport variable of the music track playing is what I am after.
