I have an Apollo Twin X connected to my Windows 10. The soundcard works fine in all other environments but when I open Wwise 2021.1.2.7629, I cannot see any meters when I play or profile sounds but can audibly hear them correctly. The Audio Device share-sets are saying the Main Mix Channel Configuration is 2.0 but the Bus output meter is registering 7.1 as it's output. On the Master Audio Bus, the Audio Device says "system", the Bus configuration says "Defined by device", the Bus Status (Authoring) says 2.0 output but the Meter claims it is 7.1.

I have tried so far too:

- Reset to factory layout defaults

- Send to different outputs

- Reinstalled Wwise 2021.1.2.7629

- Reinstall Wwise launcher

- Reconfigure Apollo settings to have less outputs

- Reimported presets from other working devices

Does anyone have a fix for this? I have tried everything short of re-imaging my computer so I am thinking it is a Wwise bug.

If you think this could be a bug, please report it through the Audiokinetic Launcher's Bug Report system.
Refer to https://www.audiokinetic.com/en/library/wwise_launcher/?source=InstallGuide&id=reporting_bugs.
I have exactly the same problem and tried all the solutions that Zachazy tried but nothing worked. I hope someone finds the solution to this problem.

Hello,

I had the same problem with Wwise 2022.1.7

I fixed this by getting to the file explorer to %appdata% > Audiokinetic > Wwise. Here I found a Wwise.wsettings so I deleted it. I relaunched my session and all was back to normal.

Hope this can be useful!
