Playback Speed RTPC will not update in real time [closed]

I'm having an issue trying to change the playback speed of a music segment to update in real time.
I have an RTPC mapped to playback speed, it appears to take the initial value I've passed from a UI Slider (or if I hard code a value) but then will not update the playback speed in real time if I adjust the slider.
This is only happening with playback speed and all other RTPC values are working fine.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm ok so managed to fix this by adding in a MIDI clip instead of the blank dummy audio track I was using.
