Play a random container from particular sound?

Is is possible to pass a parameter that tells a random container from where to start?

My use case - I have a random container with multiple sounds. I would like to click a button and "rewind" the sound that was played previously. Another use cases that I have - pause the game and upon resume start the random container from the beginning of the sound that was playing.
