I am in lesson 1 and can´t run the CUBE game, the framework file is in the right place and already installed the Wwise_v2014.1.1_Build5179_SDK.Mac file. I tried the steps of the PDF lesson 1 to open the RunCubeDemo.sh file with the terminal and nothing happened, then i tried by dragging it to the terminal and also nothing happened. Now when I try to open the file this appears on the terminal.

@Josue, What is your OS X version? We tested on both Mavericks and Yosemite but cannot reproduce this issue. Can you try the following from scratch? Unzip wwise_lessons.zip you downloaded from the course site in place, i.e., into your ~/Downloads folder, make sure Terminal.app is the default app associated with .sh files, and finally double-click the RunCubeDemo.sh file. If you still have troubles, drag the file into Terminal, add "stat " (don't forget the white space there" before the path to the file, hit ENTER, and paste back the result please.

I am having the same problem. I did everything exactly as described in the Lesson 1 document. Tried a few solutions suggested by other users online but nothing seems to work. I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.5.

This is what I get by typing "stat " before the file path:

16777218 31050530 -rwxrwxrwx 1 michalmaletz staff 0 133 "Jul 28 22:20:46 2015" "Jul 28 21:27:26 2015" "Jul 28 21:46:14 2015" "Nov 28 09:09:54 2014" 4096 16 0 /Users/michalmaletz/Documents/WwiseProjects/Wwise Lessons/Cube Demo/Mac/Profile/bin/RunCubeDemo.sh

MacBook-Pro-Michal-2:~ michalmaletz$

Has any solution been found yet?

Thanks in advance

I know that this question was asked a while ago, but for any other users out there, here's what I did. (I am also on Mac OS X 10.9.5)

If you're sure that you downloaded all the necessary files, go to your system preferences, and then security and privacy. Click the lock at the bottom of the window to make changes and type in your administrator password. Above the lock symbol, there should be this sentence: Allow apps downloaded from... Below this there are three options; Mac app store, Mac app store and identified developers, and Anywhere. Click Anywhere, and if a message comes up, click allow. After that, close system preferences, and try opening the file again. It should work this time.

It worked for me, and if you figured it out, great! For anyone else having this issue, give this a shot.

I can't open cube demo by wwise launcher. I downloaded xcode and try to open cube. It says do not find soundengine. Do you have method to solve this problem?
