Wwise 2022 Source Control SVN Plugin - "Prompt for checkout on edit doesn't do anything

Hello,

I am testing the SVN workgroup plugin that comes with the Wwise installation. I am using Tortoise SVN as the SVN client and RiouxSVN as the server. "Prompt for Checkout on Edit" is a new option added in Wwise 2021. I have set "subversion" as my source control plugin in the project settings and "prompt for checkout on edit" is on. When I edit a wwise work unit, nothing happens. I do not get a prompt to checkout the work unit.

I have checked out the project with two different users, using the svn repository hosted on RiouxSVN. In addition to not being prompted on edit, the file manager is not updated when another user has checked out a .wwu. If I would actually be prompted for checkout on edit it would solve my source control issues. Does anybody have any tips for how to solve this problem? is this a bug?

Unfortunately, Prompt for Checkout on Edit is an option that only works with Perforce. It does not work with SVN.

You would need to use the SVN Lock feature manually.
