◆ SetScalingFactor()

AKSOUNDENGINE_API AKRESULT AK::SoundEngine::SetScalingFactor ( AkGameObjectID  in_GameObjectID,
AkReal32  in_fAttenuationScalingFactor 
)

Sets the scaling factor of a Game Object. Modify the attenuation computations on this Game Object to simulate sounds with a larger or smaller area of effect.

  • AK_Success when successful
  • AK_InvalidParameter if the scaling factor specified was 0 or negative.
  • AK_InvalidFloatValue if the value specified was NaN or Inf

in_GameObjectIDGame object identifier
in_fAttenuationScalingFactorScaling Factor, 1 means 100%, 0.5 means 50%, 2 means 200%, and so on.
