◆ SetPanningRule()

AKSOUNDENGINE_API AKRESULT AK::SoundEngine::SetPanningRule ( AkPanningRule  in_ePanningRule,
AkOutputDeviceID  in_idOutput = 0 
)

Sets the panning rule of the specified output. This may be changed anytime once the sound engine is initialized.

Warning
This function posts a message through the sound engine's internal message queue, whereas GetPanningRule() queries the current panning rule directly.
Note: The specified panning rule will only impact the sound if the processing format is downmixing to Stereo in the mixing process. It will not impact the output if the audio stays in 5.1 until the end, for example.
Parameters
in_ePanningRulePanning rule.
in_idOutputOutput ID to set the bus on. As returned from AddOutput or GetOutputID. You can pass 0 for the main (default) output
