Contents Editor: Synth One

The Contents Editor gives you quick access to some of the most common properties associated with the Synth One plug-in. You must click the Synth One source to display the associated column headings.

Interface Element

Description

Name

The name of the Synth One plug-in.

Use

Determines which source within the sound object is:

  • Played during play back.

  • Included in SoundBanks.

  • This option is only visible when you have more than one source within the sound object.

Frequency Mode

The source of the input frequency used by the oscillators.

Base Frequency: frequency is obtained from the Base Frequency property

MIDI Note: frequency is obtained from received MIDI note events

Default value: Base Frequency

Base Frequency

Input frequency for oscillators in Hz; enabled only when Frequency Mode is set to Base Frequency.

Default value: 1000

Output Level

Level applied to the final signal (combined oscillator outputs mixed with noise generator output).

Default value: 0.0

Range: -96.0 to 24.0

Units: dB

Notes

Any additional information about the Synth One plug-in.

Adds a new source to the sound object.

When you click the Add Source button a list of possible Source plug-ins that can be added is displayed.
