Declaring network sockets for remote connection

On Xbox One GDK, it is necessary to declare the socket and port usage of Wwise in order to connect the authoring application to the game (see Xbox One-Specific Information for more information).

To achieve this in Unity, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Open <UNITY_PROJECT_ROOT>/ProjectSettings/XboxOneGame.config
  2. Add the following XML snippet in the Game section:
    <DevelopmentOnly>
    <DebugNetworkPortList>
    <DebugNetworkPort>24024</DebugNetworkPort>
    <DebugNetworkPort>24025</DebugNetworkPort>
    <DebugNetworkPort>24026</DebugNetworkPort>
    </DebugNetworkPortList>
    </DevelopmentOnly>
