Release Notes - Wwise Unity Integration 2023.1.8

This release delivers the Wwise SDK update for Wwise 2023.1.8.

Compatibility:

  • Wwise SDK: 2023.1.8
  • Unity: The integration was tested with Unity 2022.3.40f1. The minimum supported version is 2020.3 and the maximum supported version is 2023.2.

New Features

  • WG-50767 Added new functions to set the parameters of the Outdoors Room of Spatial Audio.

Bug Fixes

  • WG-70709 Fixed: Unexpected SetGeometryInstance errors when an AkSurfaceReflector component is set with no mesh.
  • WG-73618 Fixed: (Spatial Audio) Unexpected boundary edges on AkSurfaceReflector components with a mesh with more than one submesh.
