All Properties Tab

This tab allows the user to edit the properties of an object. The list of available properties depends on the object type, but the following standard Wwise table features apply.

Interface Element

Description

Right-click the table header to open the Configure Columns dialog where you can specify which columns to display and their order. See Using tables.

Opens a search field where standard alphanumeric entries filter out unmatching elements from the view. Learn more in Using tables.

Click the Close icon to the left of the search icon to close the search field and remove the filter.

[Note]Note

The searches do not include elements in collapsed nodes of the List View, Query Editor, MIDI Keymap Editor, and Reference View.

Name

The name of the property or behavior. The property or behavior listed here will vary according to the currently selected object.

Value

The property value that you want to assign to the selected object. This can include a numerical value, but can also be a check box where you enable or disable certain behaviors or properties.

For numerical fields, such as volume, you can specify whether you want to create a relative or absolute property change. By adding a + or - sign after the value, you create an offset for the selected object property. By placing it before the value, you are changing the object's property to that absolute value.

Where applicable, the Value column includes a Link indicator on its left to determine if it's applicable across platforms. For more details, see Linking or unlinking property values.

Low-pass Filter, High-pass Filter (Game-defined Auxiliary Sends and User-Defined Auxiliary Sends)

Low-pass and high-pass filter parameters for User-Defined Auxiliary Sends and Game-Defined Auxiliary Sends that do not appear in the General Settings can be controlled in the All Properties tab.

Auxiliary Low-pass Filter

  • A recursive filter that attenuates high frequencies based on the value specified.

  • The units for this filter represent the percentage of low-pass filtering that has been applied, where 0 means no low-pass filtering (signal unaffected) and 100 means maximal attenuation.

  • Default value: 0
    Range: 0 to 100
    Units: Percent
(For more detail, see Wwise LPF and HPF value cutoff frequencies.)

Auxiliary High-pass Filter

  • A recursive filter that attenuates low frequencies based on the value specified.

  • The units for this filter represent the percentage of high-pass filtering that has been applied, where 0 means no high-pass filtering (signal unaffected) and 100 means maximal attenuation.

  • Default value: 0
    Range: 0 to 100
    Units: Percent
