Wwise Unreal Integration Documentation
Release Notes 2023.1.13

Each version of this integration matches a specific build of Unreal Engine. This document lists the changes in the 2023.1.13 release of the integration.

Compatibility:

  • Wwise SDK: 2023.1.13
  • Unreal: This integration supports, and was compiled against, Unreal Engine versions 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5. It was tested against Unreal Engine 5.5.

New Features

  • WG-77840 Added support for dynamic shared libraries using Frameworks.

Bug Fixes

  • WG-77392 Fixed: Media with "OtherBank" aren't loaded properly.
  • WG-77577 Fixed: SandboxRootPath can't be changed during packaging, which causes issues packaging projects that have more than one SandboxRootPath.

Fixes for Community-Reported Bugs

  • WG-75208 Fixed: Wwise project settings are automatically modified on launch.
  • WG-76000 Fixed: Unreal crash on shutdown when using the -stompmalloc command.
  • WG-77641 Fixed: idDevice of FAkOutputSettings is int32, which doesn't match uint32 defined by the Wwise SDK.
  • WG-77675 Fixed: Possible crash during asset unloading and reloading with callback occurring during level changes.
