The Advanced Profiler - This tab displays information about the amount of CPU percentage used by each element.

Interface Element

Description

Opens a search field where standard alphanumeric entries filter out unmatching elements from the view. Learn more in Using Tables.

Click the Close icon to the left of the search icon to close the search field and remove the filter.

	Note
	The searches do not include elements in collapsed nodes of the List View, Query Editor, MIDI Keymap Editor, and Reference View.

Click the Configure Columns... shortcut (right-click) option from the column header band.

The Configure Columns Dialog opens. Specify which columns to display and their order.

Name

The name of the element on which we calculate CPU usage.

Type

The type of element. For example, Codec, Source, Effect, Mixer or Sink.

% CPU

The percentage of CPU used by the element.

Number of Instances

An estimation of the number of instances of the element based on the number of times the performance measurement was invoked in the last measured period. For some plug-ins, the estimation may vary from frame to frame.
