A memory allocation failed because there wasn't enough memory available. The maximum memory Wwise can use is defined in code, at initialization time, by setting AkMemSettings::uMemAllocationSizeLimit
. Note that the Memory tab in the Advanced Profiler shows a snapshot of the current state of memory taken every 200 ms. Therefore, it is possible that it shows there's enough memory even though an error is reported at the corresponding time.
Recommended resolution steps:
Use less memory by unloading unused SoundBanks, or by splitting SoundBanks into smaller files. This targets the greatest consumer of memory.
Use less memory by unregistering less Game Objects.
Increase AkMemSettings::uMemAllocationSizeLimit
.
