Version
The Schematic view displays the hierarchy of the bus, motion, music, and sound objects in your project as a graphical representation. By default, the Schematic view displays the hierarchy and the different routing connections for your entire project, but you can use the Search field to filter the view and display the hierarchy for one object.
Note | |
---|---|
In contrast to the Voices Graph, which does not display non-mixing busses, the Schematic view displays all busses, regardless of their processing status. Refer to Understanding the Bus Icons and Processing Status for more information on the various processing statuses. |
Tip | |
---|---|
By default in Wwise, you can switch to the Schematic layout by pressing F9. |
The following list shows the different types of connectors between nodes.
Connector Type |
Description |
||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Defines a hierarchical relation between two nodes. The node to the left is the parent of the node to the right (child). |
|||||
Defines a routing relation between two nodes. The node to the left is an Audio Bus and the node to the right is an audio structure. |
|||||
Defines a routing relation between two nodes where the node to the right overrides the parent's routing. The node to the left is a bus. The node to the right is an audio structure. |
|||||
Defines an auxiliary send routing relation between two nodes where the node to the right (audio structure) sends its audio to the Auxiliary Bus on the left. |

Search |
Filters the objects that appear in the Schematic view. Type an object name or part of an object name in this text box to display the hierarchy for that object only. |
|
Clears the contents of the Search field. When the Search field is cleared, the entire project hierarchy is displayed again in the Schematic view. |
