State Group Property Editor

In the State Group property editor you can define the time it takes to change between two states in the same State Group. For example, there may be a difference in volume between two states, and you can define how long it will take for the new volume in the second State to be applied. You can use a default transition time that is applied to all states within the State Group, or you can define custom transitions times for individual states within the State Group.

Interface Element

Additional information about the State Group

Transitions

Default transition time

The duration of the transition that will be applied between all the States in the State Group.

Custom Transition Time

Click the Configure Columns... shortcut (right-click) option from the column header band.

The Configure Columns Dialog opens. Specify which columns to display and their order.

From

The source state for the transition.

Time

The duration of the transition that will be applied between the selected source and destination states.

To

The destination state for the transition.

The source and destination states cannot be the same for a transition.

(Bi-directional)

Specifies whether the transition time specified applies in both directions.

When this check box is selected, the transition time between the two states is applied in both directions. For example, the duration of the transition that you define will be applied when going from the source state to the destination state as well as in the reverse order.

When unselected, the transition time is unidirectional, from left to right. This means that the transition time will only be applied when going from the source state to the destination state and not in the reverse order, from destination to source state.

Adds a new entry in the Custom Transition Time table where you can modify the duration of the transitions between individual states.

Removes the selected entry in the Custom Transition Time table.
