In the precompiled WAL, the Main Menu appears when opening WAL. If you run WAL in Unreal Engine, however, you are transported straight into the Village map. From there, you can press the spacebar to open the In-game Menu, from which you can select Return to Main Menu.
Options accessible through the Main Menu:
Map: To select which game map to load. Each one provides an environment to freely examine and play around with various sound features, but with different features to better suit particular tests.
Echo Room: Loads a customizable cubical Room with a configurable sound emitter. It is particularly useful for testing spatialization and simulation of sound propagation with different acoustic textures. Customize the Echo Room in its associated Radio Settings panel. While displayed by default, press F to toggle its display. See The Radio Settings Panel for more info.
Village: Loads an island village environment with several outdoor and indoor venues for experiencing a number of specific sound design features explained by associated Information Nodes.
Language: To select the language in which to display the WAL interface.
English (by default)

Chinese (simplified)
About: To prompt a small splash panel with the Wwise Audio Lab version.
Credits: To open a new page listing all the organizations and individuals Audiokinetic would like to thank and acknowledge for their invaluable contributions to the development of WAL. Click Exit Credits to return to the Main Menu.
Quit: To close WAL, after confirmation through a prompt.
