Preparing the Wwise Project to Run in Your Game

After you create the sending and receiving sounds, and configure the Tencent GME Session effect in your project with the necessary key and IDs, you must create a few events and package them into a SoundBank so the game can use the service.

Creating the Events

For each GME-related sound, create corresponding Play and Stop events to provide transport control to the game. You can also create Pause and Resume events if required in the context of your game.

For voice receiving operations, you can create the following four events:

Receiving Event Name

Description

Play_GME_Receive

Starts receiving voice

Stop_GME_Receive

Stops receiving voice

Pause_GME_Receive

Pauses receiving voice

Resume_GME_Receive

Resumes receiving voice

For voice sending operations, you can create the following four events:

Sending Event Name

Description

Play_GME_Send

Starts sending voice

Stop_GME_Send

Stops sending voice

Pause_GME_Send

Pauses sending voice

Resume_GME_Send

Resumes sending voice

Generating the SoundBanks

You must add GME sounds and events (such as GME_Send and GME Receive) to a SoundBank so that the game can load and play them.
