Strata Help

The Vehicles collection contains a broad range of accurate and authentic internal combustion engine recordings. Each engine is recorded with multiple microphones in a variety of positions: close to the engines and exhaust systems, inside the vehicle or, in the case of motorcycles, inside the helmet of the rider. The vehicle engines were recorded across a range of their potential performance on and off load. The resulting recordings have been edited to provide seamless loops at specific rpm points to facilitate integration into engine audio simulation systems. Start, stop, and idle variations of each vehicle are included, as well as a set of common door operations, tire skids, and horns, all with loops and appropriate perspectives.
