The Footstep collection consists of a comprehensive range of Footstep sounds: walking, running, sneaking, pivoting, sliding, jumping, and landing. There are sounds for multiple types of footwear: barefoot, heavy shoes, light shoes, high heels, and generic, and associated surfaces. The generic type includes a set of surface types that are indistinguishable regardless of shoe type: sand, a range of snow and ice, grass (combinations of wet/dry and long/short), shallow and deep water, roof tiles, mud, and broken glass.
