Wwise Unreal Integration Documentation
Release Notes 2024.1.4

Each version of this integration matches a specific build of Unreal Engine. This document lists the changes in the 2024.1.4 release of the integration.

Compatibility:

  • Wwise SDK: 2024.1.4
  • Unreal: This integration supports, and was compiled against, Unreal Engine versions 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5. It was tested against Unreal Engine 5.5.

Bug Fixes

  • WG-76881 Fixed: The default channel configuration is wrong on mobile platforms.

Fixes for Community-Reported Bugs

  • WG-75976 Fixed: (Spatial Audio) ConnectedPortals variable of UAkRoomComponent does not reflect the current state when World Partition is used.
  • WG-76250 Fixed: Events that reference plug-ins with Events fail to post in editor.
  • WG-76476 Fixed: Events with media referenced in another SoundBank fail to post.
  • WG-76782 Fixed: Insufficient log messages during Wwise asset cooking.
  • WG-76785 Fixed: With the cooking option Package as Bulk Data enabled, files used in multiple Events are stored as Additional files.
  • WG-76960 Fixed: Shared Filters cannot be saved in Wwise Asset Libraries.
  • WG-76961 Fixed: Package Assets advanced option in Assets Libraries is not functional.
