This page contains information that is specific to using the Wwise SDK for the Windows Store App (Metro) platform.
Wwise does not yet have a WinRT implementation of the CommunicationCentral library, necessary for connecting with Wwise Authoring. The desktop version of the library located in Win32_vc110 and x64_vc110 can be used in its place; note however that linking with the desktop version will introduce a dependency with the winsock2 library and make your App fail certification.
There is no such workaround for communication on the ARM architecture.
