Release Notes 2024.1.3

Each version of this integration matches a specific build of Unreal Engine. Here is what has changed in the 2024.1.3 release of the integration (in addition to upgrading to the new Unreal build).

  • This integration was compiled against Unreal Engine versions 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5. It was tested against Unreal Engine 5.5.
  • This integration does not support experimental Unreal Engine features.

New Features

  • WG-75949 Added WAAPI Call Timeout setting to the User Settings.

Bug Fixes

  • WG-76353 Fixed: User Settings Visualize Rooms and Portals and Show Reverb Info cannot be enabled while playing in editor.
  • WG-76417 Fixed: Setting Unreal Audio Routing to anything other than Default or Route through AudioLink makes the Unreal Editor crash when restarting it.
  • WG-76718 Fixed: Packaging fails without Unity build.

Fixes for Community-Reported Bugs

  • WG-75627 Fixed: Auto-Defined SoundBanks streaming prefetched, looped sounds assert when packaged as bulk data. This causes all prefetched parts of media to be duplicated in storage.
  • WG-76209 Fixed: FWwisePackagedFile::DeallocateMemory causes memory leaks.
  • WG-76419 Fixed: Niagara systems with "Wwise Persistent Events" can crash under heavy load.
  • WG-76500 Fixed: Server builds fail when using the Debug configuration.
  • WG-76666 Fixed: Reconcile Move operation can't be overridden.
