Description:

• The Radio can fly around its docking station using predefined patterns, which can be selected from the presets listed in the left pane of the Radio controls. Settings on the right can be used to modify the Radio channels and the Radio movements in space. Additional features are available in the Echo Room.

Action Item:

• Anywhere in WAL, press F (or the Y button) to display or close the Radio controls.

• List of features in Radio interface:

  • Reposition to Center: Teleports the docking station to you.

  • Toggle Source On/Off.

  • Change wall surfaces (Echo Room map only).

  • Change global occlusion factor (Echo Room map only).

• Radio Features outside the Radio interface:

  • Grab docking station: Aim and press 'E'.

  • Ungrab docking station: press 'E'.

  • Move docking station: Mouse wheel.

What to Expect:

• Useful things to do with the Radio:

  • Use the Radio at a fixed position to mix distance attenuation.

  • Use circular patterns to fine tune positioning and spatial audio settings.

  • Use the campfire with different bus configurations to hear the results.
