The Historical Firearms main project provides a convenient way to visualize, locate,
and audition the sounds in the Historical Firearms collection. Additionally, it is a
central point from which you can open the individual subprojects of the collection. Each
subproject contains sounds related to a unique firearm, organized by type and firearm
name. For example, there are separate subprojects for Pistol Muzzleloader, Revolver
Remington, and Rifle Kodiak. There is also a Handling subproject, which contains generic
sounds for the physical manipulation of firearms such as loading and unloading.
The main project contains tracks for each subproject firearm, with media items that
reference the various subprojects in nested tracks. You can audition any of the media
items, which reference the rendered output from the corresponding subprojects.
In the main Historical Firearms project, you can double-click any subproject media
item to open the corresponding subproject, in which all of the tracks and layers
available for the specific firearm are arranged.
Use the Region/Marker Manager to find and jump to the different subproject tracks. For
more information, refer to Regions and Markers in the Strata User Guide.
