Control tracks affect the output of individual layer tracks. They control several parameters of tracks and effects simultaneously scaled to individual parameters, with automatable envelopes. They are named to correspond with what they simulate as an overall result of their manipulation. This allows complex and significant editing of multiple sounds with the adjustment of a single control. The control track is colored gray and the individual envelope control tracks are a darker shade of gray.
