Main Project Structure

From a collection's main project, you can use markers and regions to find and audition various subprojects and listen to media items from the subprojects. When you double-click a subproject media item, the subproject opens in a new tab and displays all of the sounds, track effects, and design that combine to form the rendered media source files.

Every collection's main project has the same basic structure, components, and characteristics:

  • A parent track with an item that references a subproject.

  • A child track that uses reference renders from the associated subproject.

  • Colors are assigned for each subproject. There are eight dark colors and eight light colors.

    • Parent tracks use dark colors, and colors are repeated if a subproject has more than eight parent tracks.

    • Child tracks and their reference renders use the light color variations of their parents.

  • Region names and colors correspond to their associated subprojects and reference renders.
