The Submersion collection is arranged in subprojects that cover an expensive range of highly flexible sounds in a broad range of environments. The objects making those sounds are easily customized using multiple control tracks.
The Underwater Ambience subproject is mixed using higher-order ambisonics. This subproject is set up to render in a variety of common multichannel formats, ranging from binaural to 7.0.4, as well as multiple orders of ambisonics in AmbiX, allowing 360 degrees of listening immersion. The subproject is configured to render as seamless loops and blend multiple layers of sounds. The subproject is arranged to allow auditioning according to your monitor systems and rendering in a comprehensive range of formats. By default, it is configured to monitor in stereo.
In addition to the subproject set up for ambisonic mixing, there is a subproject that can be used for point source objects in conjunction with the ambience beds. There are also subprojects related to specific objects or classes of submersed sounds.
The main project in which you can audition the files rendered from the subprojects is named Submersion.
The complete list of all subprojects and their associated data and embedded metadata is available in the accompanying Submersion SoundBook.
