Track Layers Specific to the Interactable Objects Collection

The object’s sounds were recorded with a variety of microphones in multiple positions to capture the details unique to each object. A similar close perspective is used across all objects. The subproject in the Interactable Objects collection is arranged with the following layers.

Basic Layer

The Basic layer is the main body of the sound. It is often the primary switch or button click of the associated Interactable Object. In many cases, this layer could be used on its own. Basic layer tracks use yellow custom colors, alternating between light and dark shades.

Details Layer 1 Squeak and Synthetic

This Details layer features a metallic or synthetic sound associated with the object movement. The squeak of a metal box or lever hinge, for example. All Details Layer 1 tracks use blue custom colors, alternating between light and dark shades.

Details Layer 2 Metal

This Details layer helps conclude the action of certain objects, for example, the sound of a lever clicking into place after being pulled. All Details Layer 2 tracks use orange custom colors, alternating between light and dark shades.

Weight Layer

The Weight layer provides additional low-frequency emphasis for several objects. All Weight Layer tracks use red custom colors, alternating between light and dark shades.

Cinematic Layer

The Cinematic layer contains elements that you can use for dramatic cinematic moments. This layer is muted by default.
