The Audiokinetic Launcher is required to download Strata collections. If you use Wwise, you already have the Launcher installed. If not, you can download the Audiokinetic Launcher from the download page.
You can view all Strata collections in the Launcher, but you can only download the collections to which your subscription provides access (if you do not have access to a subscription, its download button is disabled). For example, users with free subscriptions can only download sample collections, whereas users with paid subscriptions can download any collection.

To download Strata collections:
Open the Audiokinetic Launcher.
In the left navigation menu, click Strata. The Strata page opens. The collections are listed from newest to oldest by default.
Above the list of collections, click Change and set the installation path in the dialog.
Click the download button to the right of the desired collection. The collection and an offline copy of its collection guide are downloaded to the specified installation folder.

Note The offline documentation is in CHM format, which on macOS requires the installation of a CHM reader. If you do not already have one installed, we recommend you search the Apple App Store for ".chm" to find several readers to choose from. After you have installed a reader, double-click the
.chmfiles to open them.
You can click the vertical ellipses to the right of a collection to open the containing folder or view version information and links to the product page, online documentation, and SoundBook.
