Viewing Collections in REAPER

Refer to REAPER Reference to learn essential REAPER terminology.

Strata collections share similar structures and colors in REAPER. When you’re familiar with the basic pattern, you can work with any Strata collection.

To view a collection in REAPER:

  • From the <CollectionName> folder, open the <CollectionName>.rpp file in REAPER. In the following example, a Strata collection is open in the main window. The REAPER Region/Marker Manager, which you can open from the View menu, is docked at the right and the Media Explorer is docked at the bottom. The main output fader is visible and the transport is docked at the top left of the main window.

Subproject track and rendered media items reference track.

Media items. The contents of the subproject, which consist of a collection or rendered media source files.
